After her husband's death, Fereshte lives with her daughter and son, struggling to raise them alone. But her daughter becomes ill and she needs to hospitalize her with help from their neighbor Tal'at. She spends the night in the hospital by her daughter's bedside, but in the morning the doctors tell her that it's too late, they can do nothing more; maybe if no leaf falls, her daughter will recover. The son begins to gather and carry leaves, crying as he pastes them on the trees. Will this work? What if it doesn't?
